A still image transformed into a step-by-step disappearance animation through Photoshop.

Vanishing Step Creative Breakdown

This project started as a single still image, then evolved into a frame by frame disappearance effect using Photoshop. Instead of filming motion, I manually created it.

I broke the original image into stages, each one gradually removing more of the subject. Then I sequenced those stages in Photoshop Timeline panel, animating the moment the person fades out of reality.

It’s a combination of digital manipulation, layering, masking, and timing. Built entirely from still photography. No AI, no video footage, just creative editing and practical effects.

The final result is a seamless “vanishing act” where the body disappears step by step.
